November 22, 2025 - Alpha Works, today announces a new phase of collaboration with U.S.-based audio specialist Audiofrog at the “Hear What Good Sounds Like” event.
This milestone marks a significant step in Alpha Works’ evolution, from brand collaboration to deep R&D integration. The collaboration will deliver groundbreaking future products under the trademark “Alpha Works sound by Audiofrog.”
A Global Collaboration to Elevate the Brand
The relationship between Alpha Works and Audiofrog is built on a shared history. Mr. Andy Wehmeyer, Founder of Alpha Works, is also the President and Co-Founder of Audiofrog.
Originally established as a sub-brand, Alpha Works later became independent to pursue a focused strategy in consumer audio, while Audiofrog continued advancing professional and automotive audio solutions. Today, this collaboration signals a new chapter, reuniting the brands for strategic R&D. Alpha Works brings deep consumer market insights, and Audiofrog contributes decades of professional audio expertise to jointly design, fine-tune, and optimize sound performance.
Building on this shared legacy, Mr. Andy Wehmeyer, an audio expert with over 33 years of experience in designing and tuning professional sound systems, will lead the engineering team in the “Alpha Works sound by Audiofrog” project, focusing on developing tuning algorithms, acoustic simulation, and sound quality optimization.
Vietnam as a Strategic R&D Hub and Flagship Store Location
A key announcement highlighted Vietnam as Alpha Works’ strategic R&D hub for Southeast Asia. Local engineers and creative teams will work closely with U.S. experts to define the “Good Sound, Good Mood” audio signature, balancing technical accuracy with immersive emotional experience.
To bring this vision to life, Alpha Works has confirmed plans to open its representative office, combined with an Experience Store, in Ho Chi Minh City in the near future.
Introducing the Alpha Works GEN BEAT Party Speaker Series
During the event, Alpha Works unveiled the new GEN BEAT party speaker line. Designed for vibrant party sound, eye-catching light effects, and optimized karaoke modes, the GEN BEAT series is tailored for the Southeast Asian market.
Models GEN BEAT X, 100, 110, 120, 510, and 520 are scheduled to launch in Vietnam in December, ahead of the holiday season.
